Hi

I shaved my head on Sat 15th August at Victor Harbor football club,to raise money for the Neurosurgical Research Foundation.

Our son Alex was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour in 2008 when he was 6 years old. He underwent two operations in the Women’s & Children’s hospital to remove the tumour and now has regular MRI’s. We are very lucky as Alex has no neurological deficits following his operations. As a family we try to fund raise for the NRF, as unfortunately and sadly brain tumours still kill too many children & adults

The NRF helps neuroscience researchers look for ways to improve treatments which can save the lives of children and adults living with neurosurgical and neurological conditions.

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
